You'll win us over by having the following key responsibilities: Operating cranes safely: Lift, move, and position loads under the supervision of a senior operator, using bridge, gantry, or runway cranes Following signals: Respond to hand signals, verbal instructions, and load charts from riggers, signal persons, and supervisors Load verification: Check load weight, center of gravity, and integrity against load charts before lifting Assisting with rigging: Help secure loads with slings, chains, shackles, spreader bars, or other lifting gear under supervision Pre-shift inspections: Assist in inspecting cranes for safety issues such as hoist, trolley, bridge, hook, cables, limit switches, and controls Basic maintenance: Perform minor cleaning, lubrication, or adjustments as directed by supervisors Logging activity: Record lift details, equipment checks, and any issues in required logs Communication: Maintain clear communication with ground crew to ensure safe and efficient operations Safety compliance: Follow OSHA, ASME B30, and company safety procedures; report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: We value your unique identity and perspective.
