p>Experience: One year of law enforcement experience as a police officer, military police officer, correctional officer, dispatcher, community service officer, POST academy student or graduate, police cadet, security officer, or military service required.
The non sworn Campus Safety Officer differs from the sworn Campus Police Officer in that the incumbents assigned to this classification provide protection by observing and reporting unusual and suspicious activity and enforce District parking regulations and provide traffic control.
