div>Experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker sought to work in a busy integrated small rural facility (FQHC), located in beautiful Downeast Maine.
Provide ongoing behavioral health therapy services individual (adult, child and adolescent per license), couples, family and group counseling; as well as brief consultations for clients referred for mental health services.

ul>Required - Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or other field related to social work with one (1) year of social work experience in a healthcare setting required; and licensure if required by state rules. The Social Worker provides preventive, educational, and evaluative and treatment services to meet the psychosocial needs of patients and their families, to help them improve, restore, and maintain their maximum level of coping.
As an alternative to hospitalization or law enforcement intervention, we provide stabilization, observation, assessment, and short-term intervention in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive environment - open 24/7, 365 days a year, promoting safety, dignity, and recovery. Spurwink is hiring an Overnight Crisis Worker for our soon-to-open Lewiston Crisis Center, which offers a warm, welcoming environment for individuals ages 14+ experience urgent behavioral health needs.
Participate in the development of the individualized plan of care, involving the patient and family, and attend regularly scheduled interdisciplinary group meetings, assist the team in recognizing the effects of the psychosocial stresses on symptoms of the terminal illness. Assess the psychosocial status of patients and families/caregivers related to the patients terminal illness and environment and communicates findings to the registered nurse and other members of the interdisciplinary group.
