A Physical Therapist (PT) assesses and treats patients with injuries, disabilities, or other health conditions that limit their movement by developing personalized treatment plans that utilize exercises, manual therapy, and other techniques to improve mobility, manage pain, restore function, and prevent further disability; they work with patients to achieve their functional goals through a combination of hands-on therapy, stretching, strengthening exercises, and patient education, often collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes; providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation.
