p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Primary duties in Music History within Core Studies can include teaching any of the core undergraduate requirements within the Narratives of Music History sequence, graduate review courses, electives, required graduate courses (such as research and bibliography courses) and graduate seminars, as well as assisting with placement testing, sitting oral comprehensive exams, and curricular design.
Core Studies at Boston Conservatory:
Core Studies includes Music History and Music Theory, and includes all courses in the Ear Training, Harmony & Counterpoint, Time & Rhythm, and Narratives of Music History sequences for undergraduates, as well as graduate seminars, advanced Theory/Musicology electives, and review courses for MM students.
