Qualifications: Education: • To teach MAT 0250, MAT 0300, or any supplemental academic instruction (SAI) MAT course: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, mathematics education, actuarial science, applied mathematics, computer science, data science, economics, engineering, operational research, physics, or another related field • To teach MAT 1075, MAT 1085, MAT 1120, MAT 1140, MAT 1150, MAT 1160, MAT 1220, MAT 1230, MAT 1240, MAT 1260, MAT 1320, MAT 1340, MAT 1400, MAT 1420, MAT 1440, MAT 2075, MAT 2085, MAT 2410, MAT 2420, MAT 2430, MAT 2431, MAT 2540, MAT 2560, or MAT 2562: Master's degree in mathematics or statistics • Also allowed: Any master's degree with a combination of 18 graduate credits in mathematics and/or statistics. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other mathematics faculty to: Teaching-Related: • Deliver content and facilitate student learning of assigned courses in a dynamic environment that engages students • Design and update class websites on the college's learning management system with the assistance of the department's course captains • Evaluate student mastery of course content by conducting regular assessments and providing timely feedback • Maintain accurate student records • Be available outside of the classroom for student meetings • Utilize retention strategies to maximize student success • Engage in department and college responsibilities and initiatives, including efforts to maintain departmental coherence across CCD's many instructional venues (i.e.
