DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. • Serves as the day-to-day subject matter expert on routine repairs and preventative maintenance routines • Serves as a backup to the Facilities Manager on matters related to facilities maintenance • Assists Facilities Manager in assigning helpdesk tickets to the Facilities Team • Organizes and participates in project planning meetings with contractors for sites and groups • Performs routine maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, and carpentry • Performs regular inspections of building systems, including lighting, security, and fire safety systems • Responds to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner • Ensures the cleanliness and proper functioning of all areas within the facilities • Adheres to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations • Assists Facilities Manager in providing oversight of vendor repairs, including quality and completion checks • Works collaboratively with the Health and Safety Team to ensure environmental safety of all facilities owned, leased, or managed by Claratel Behavioral Health • Implements corrective measures to address maintenance concerns • Assists in the execution of facility improvement projects • Maintains an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for maintenance and repairs • Tracks and manages the use of materials and resources efficiently • Provides excellent customer service to facility users and address their maintenance needs promptly • Communicates effectively with staff and other departments regarding maintenance schedules and activities • Engages in ongoing professional development and maintains role-specific certifications • Assists with departmental projects, as needed, to support and promote the organization's mission, vision, and strategic plan. • Incumbent must possess a pleasant personality and exhibit enthusiasm in implementing health, safety, and compliance initiatives • Ability to work independently on recurring tasks at remote Claratel Behavioral Health sites • Ability to meet strict deadlines • Incumbent must be a great team player and work together with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that tasks and projects are completed in the highest quality and in the most effective and efficient way • Must be able to work under time constraints to ensure that tasks are delivered within specified timeframes • Stakeholders should see this staff person as a valuable resource and not hesitate to ask for help • The ability to conduct objective evaluations, write clearly, speak before groups, and gain and maintain respect of co-workers is a must • Must be comfortable using technology.
