What You'll Do Regularly: • Holds safety, quality, customer feedback and financial information meetings with maintenance team members • Reviews safety requirements and points out potential hazards that may exist • Ensures, at the start of the shift and throughout the day, the prompt assignment of technicians to specific jobs which are appropriate to their possessed skills and/or to their training needs • Reviews available planned job packages for completeness and correctness • Confirms the technician knows what, where, how, why, and when for each job providing the opportunity for clarification • Makes the tactical decisions necessary: staying as close to schedule as possible • Assures accurate distribution of time and materials to specific jobs together with good feedback including proper work order entries • Assures that any necessary corrective work orders stemming from inspections and other sources have been initiated. What You'll Need Minimum 5 years maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required Experience with Preventative/Planned Maintenance processes and procedures and ability to develop procedures and schedules preferred Working knowledge of computers and computer software Certified Maintenance and Reliability Profession (CMRP) certification preferred Experience working with and maintaining Automated equipment, VFDs, PLC's, pneumatic hydraulic controls and cooling systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC logic.
