Key Responsibilities Ā Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on processing, and packaging equipment Ā Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime Ā Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC controlled systems, sensors, servos, and automation components Ā Execute equipment changeovers, calibrations, and aseptic integrity checks Ā Maintain and update CMMS work orders, PM tasks, and parts usage Ā Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency Ā Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Ā Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient operations Ā Follow all LOTO, safety, GMP, and food safety procedures Ā Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades of equipment Ā Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance logs, SOPs, and technical reports Required Qualifications Ā 3Ā5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance aseptic packaging Ā Hands on experience with Tetra Pak equipment or similar high speed packaging machinery Ā Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in: o Pumps, valves, conveyors, motors o Pneumatics & hydraulics o Aseptic systems & CIP/SIP processes Ā Electrical troubleshooting skills (110V/120V, 3 phase, DC systems) Ā Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and OEM manuals Ā Knowledge of OSHA, LOTO, and safe work practices Ā Ability to work independently in a fast paced production environment Preferred Qualifications Ā PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar) Ā Bilingual (English/Spanish) Physical Requirements Ā Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work in tight spaces Ā Lift up to 50 lbs as needed Ā Work in cold, wet, or warm production environments Ā Ability to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as required Maintenance Technician Ā Food & Beverage Shifts: 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts available Greater Sacramento Area (Near Davis / Woodland / Elk Grove) Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing aseptic packaging equipment and supporting production systems.
