In conjunction with EHS engineer(s) and other staff, this position is responsible for the successful, professional, and timely completion of more basic EHS tasks such as accident investigations, coordinating hazardous waste and other environmental activities, conducting safety and environmental audits and inspections, conducting training, leading or attending meetings of safety committees and other groups, and assisting with emergency planning, such as emergency drills. Plans, carries out, and documents safety inspections, audits, and evaluations including safety inspections, basic industrial hygiene evaluations (heat, noise and Carbon Monoxide), ergonomic evaluations, Job Safety Analysis, permit-required confined space evaluations, chalk circle observations, PPE hazard assessments, etc.
