Possesses knowledge of methods, techniques, supplies, materials, and equipment utilized in the operation of the cafeteria; knowledge of policies, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to the cafeteria; safe operation of tools and equipment of the cafeteria; ability to follow oral and written instructions and maintain a cooperative relationship with co-workers with little or no supervision; ability to be courteous to students, staff, and the general public.
Keeps patrons and public informed of the menus and services offered by the school cafeterias, and of the health and educational benefits gained by children through participation in the school food service program, Prepares financial reports and claims for reimbursement, required by the State Department.
