At least 5 years of experience in community organizing, campaign advocacy, urban policy, community engagement, or other related field; Deep experience working within social-ecological resilience, community science, environmental justice, ecological justice, environmental planning, or climate justice issue areas; Ease working in a collaborative environment with a small, dedicated team; Clear written and verbal communicator; Resident of Queens strongly preferred; Proficiency in one of our watershed languages is a plus (e.g., Chinese, Spanish, Korean, Hindi); Familiarity with Airtable, Google Drive, Slack, and Excel is a plus. Community Science Data Synthesis: Collaborate with Stewardship staff to synthesize and integrate GoFB’s water quality, habitat, marine debris, and air quality community science data into GoFB’s advocacy and campaign strategy.
