Typical tasks and deliverables that are executed by or under the supervision of the Mechanical Engineer IV include site selection, master planning, commissioning and startup, load calculations, utility assessments, energy modeling, design reports, code evaluations, plans, P&IDs, schedules, HAZOP reviews, installation details, equipment and system selection and specification, and coordination with manufacturers and trade partners. This position is responsible for overseeing the Mechanical discipline scope of work and managing the discipline budget on all project phases, sizes and levels of complexity, and coordinating with internal and external architects and engineers, as well as clients, construction managers, subcontractors, vendors and manufacturers.
