We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with at least 5+ years of engineering design experience to join our Electrical Building Systems group serving Industrial, Commercial, Government and Higher Education markets.
We specialize in building and operating advanced test ranges for low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) single- or dual- use autonomous platforms, providing a critical bridge between early-stage innovation and real-world mission requirements. Our ranges are designed to replicate complex, contested, and dynamic environments—giving innovators, researchers, and defense partners the ability to validate, stress-test, and mature their systems with speed and rigor.
li>Work as an individual or as part of a cross-functional team of engineers, planners, scientific, and construction professionals to execute project work on multiple concurrent projects, assist with laying out installations, calculating costs and quantities of material/equipment/labor, and ensuring project work conforms with specifications, permit applications, compliance documentation, and regulatory and technical analysis memos. Well qualified candidates will demonstrate solid working design knowledge of grounding, lightning and surge protection, lighting, protective relaying, prime and standby generation, low and medium voltage motor control centers and switchgear, medium voltage substations, mission-critical power systems, and UPS systems.
The applicant should have a strong background in Electrical Engineering with demonstrated skills in test methodology, data collection, test systems, data analysis, and thermal/stress analyses. Essential or Primary / Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be a key contributor to new product development, working across the entire lifecycle - from defining specifications and designing schematics to creating PCB layouts, testing prototypes, and supporting production release. Notes: Our products are used in off highway automotive areas that includes agricultural and construction equipment: tractors, combines, sprayers, balers, excavators, loaders, skid steers, man lifts, cranes, paving and logging equipment, etc.
