Application Opening: 5/26/26 Application Closing: 6/31/26 Under the general supervision and guidance of the School Director, Apprentice Education Specialist Teachers (AEST) are enrolled in the HTH Teacher Center District Intern Education Specialist Credentialing Program co-teaching alongside an experienced teacher for a gradual release into teaching and instructional responsibilities. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - Bachelor''s Degree - Basic Skills Requirement - Certificate of Clearance - Completion of District Intern summer preservice coursework (120 hours) - Met all program and credential requirements for official enrollment into the District Intern Program 2024-25 school year.

Under the supervision of the Pupil's Services Director, the Education Specialist provides students with disabilities a program that enables him/her to reach his/her fullest physical, emotional, psychological, and behavioral potential. Provide consultation, coordination, planning, curricular resources, evaluation, remediation, and direct instructional services for students with special needs placed in a special day class.

May include ongoing coordination and maintenance of a portion of the Learning Management System (LMS), such as Helpdesk activities, Instructor-Led Training (ILT) coordination and upkeep, Skills (Assignment) input and maintenance, building and maintenance of Learning Plans, Epic Training support and the development of less complex elearning, or a combination of thereof.

Other duties may include the following:

Accountable for and supports appropriate education requests, system wide education programs, learning initiatives and education related special projects for staff, students, providers and external customers.

Basic Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline AND 9 years of related professional/military experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry that includes a background in leadership positions, OR a Master's of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related professional/military experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry that includes a background in leadership positions. The Software CoTE Director will deliver sector wide technical capabilities spanning the full product life cycle across the breadth of NGAS Software Capabilities including real-time safety critical and mission critical software, non-real time software applications and tools, On-Prem and Off-Prem Cloud native applications, Infrastructure Software and tools, Modeling and Simulation Software, Artificial Intelligence Software.
