POSITION TITLE Assistant Principal SITE: Currituck County High School REPORTS TO: Principal TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months SALARY: Per NC State Salary Schedule plus local supplement STARTING DATE: Immediate EDUCATION REQUIRED Must hold or be eligible to hold appropriate NC Licensure from the NC Department of Public Instruction Minimum of 3-5 years successful teaching experience Demonstrated effective leadership, public relations, and administrative skills Strong instructional background and knowledge of curriculum Demonstrated effective skills in conflict management resolution Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and community at large Commitment to high achievement for all students Positive role model both professionally and personally.
