Promotes patient health and independence through teaching and appropriate rehabilitative measures, assisting patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
Responsibilities for this include managing the Shuttle Driver Team and maintaining position coverage at all times for all scheduled routes, maintaining Team Member uniform compliance at all times, and Team Member safety practices throughout the Shuttle Program and in our Parking Operations on the campus at large. Oversee vehicle maintenance plan and coordinates maintenance contractors to ensure fleet availability to meet service requirements.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of terminally ill patients and their families along with understanding of hospice; ability to apply knowledge of the special needs of hospice patient and families; knowledge of roles of all disciplines providing hospice services; excellent patient assessment skills; knowledge of community resources; good oral and written communication skills; documentation and program management; knowledge of general nursing practice; thorough knowledge of managed care principles, regulatory guidelines (i.e., Medicare, Medicaid, ACHC, and human resource management principles). Personal Traits, Qualities and Aptitudes: Sensitivity to the impact of life and death issues faced by individuals with terminal illness; tact in dealing with these patients and their families; ability to support others at a time of crisis.

p>Responsibilities: Oversees all safety incidents and investigations, reports both incidents and accidents to senior leadership as needed and ensures open communications daily with BPS; supports daily operations; provides employees with coaching, counseling, tools and information; and ensures enforcement of workplace policies and procedures using progressive disciplinary steps, when needed.
Manages the site Safety and Training Department including but not limited to: all aspects of site safety training; classroom and behind-the-wheel training schedules, logistics and documentation; and personnel and qualification files pertaining to training, safety and loss matters.
