Educate distributors, contractors, engineers and project owners by presenting at industry specific seminars and for continuing education events for associations and government regulatory bodies; Meet and develop relationships with contractors by scheduling and teaching “drilling fluid schools” regularly at a local, regional and national level; Work independently to plan, organize and manage territory travel schedule within assigned budget; Define and manage territory goals and provide Sales Director with an up to date forecast based on opportunities, information from customer base, industry data, and economic trends; Develop, execute and evolve sales strategy to achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets; Manage daily activities of the sales cycle including sales calls, quotes and follow ups; Provide a report of weekly activities and territory trends to the Sales Director; Develop new business through leads, cold calling, networking and prospecting; Document customer interactions and opportunities in Customer Relationship Management program (CRM). They are used in consumer goods in paper and packaging, food and pharmaceuticals, household and personal care, pet care, automotives, and many more, as well as in industrial settings like steelmaking, metalcasting, construction, infrastructure, and wastewater remediation.
