The successful candidate must hold an earned master's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution; current national certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist (MLS/MT) through ASCP Board of Certification or equivalent certification; minimum of five years of professional clinical laboratory experience across multiple laboratory disciplines; minimum of three years of higher education teaching, laboratory education, clinical instruction, or academic program administration experience; demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, assessment practices, accreditation processes, and program administration; strong organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. We strongly encourage candidates with earned doctorate (PhD, EdD, DCLS, DHSc, or related discipline); experience with accreditation activities, program development, curriculum planning, or academic leadership; experience developing clinical partnerships and coordinating clinical education experiences; experience working with multicultural, multilingual, and first-generation student populations.
