Major Responsibilities: Coordinates and facilitates a system approach to common imaging functions; specific initiatives include infrastructure, collaborative operations, compliance, medical staff partnerships, strategic planning, capital budget coordination, freestanding imaging strategy, Radiation Safety Coordination, Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Transcription and cost reduction initiatives. Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
