Directly responsible, under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, for the management of Pharmacists, including, but not limited to: Hire and evaluate staff providing clear expectations, effective coaching, counseling, mentoring, recognition, and staff development to provide exceptional customer service to all hospital departments and external customers. Responsibilities in cooperation with the pharmacy manager include development and monitoring of clinical and distributive procedures and job descriptions, quality assurance, scheduling maintenance and coordinating orientation, and training of new personnel.
