Providing in-service training to all new personnel as assigned and ensuring they learn exceptional guest service, special features and services offered by the Hardware Department, and the proper and safe operations (at minimum) of the following equipment: com-line, telephone, baler, trash compactor, box cutter, FM unit, EOS (ordering machine) pallet jack, six wheelers, and any other equipment used in or by the GM Department. Directing, coordinating, and participating in throwing freight, facing product, hanging tags, merchandising with other departments, pricing, greeting guests, changing ad items, reading UPC's, paying bills, building displays, ordering and setting seasonal items, and taking inventory.
