Job training for Dental Specialists consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you''ll learn basic Soldiering skills, seven weeks and 3 days of Advanced Individual Training. With some additional study, you may qualify for certification with either the American Medical Technologists as a registered dental assistant or with the Dental Assisting National Board as a certified dental assistant.
li> Interacts and collaborates regularly with providers to provide direction and oversight of effective schedules, efficient clinic work flow and patient flow, establishing and maintaining a cooperative, relationship of trust with providers. Responsible for treatment plan presentations to patients (explaining cavities, perio disease, x-rays), giving them the price/fee estimates, and following up with patients that have unscheduled treatment plans.
