Supervisory responsibilities<ul><li> This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. </li></ul>Duties and responsibilities <ul><li>Cutting sample swatches from large format tile</li><li><ul><li>Typical tile size is 12"x12" up to 30"x60"</li><li>Typical swatch size is 4"x8"</li></ul></li><li>Requires understanding and proficiency (including maintenance) with the following tools:</li><li><ul><li>Measuring tape (down to +/- 1/16"), ruler</li><li>Wet tile saw (large bridge saw and small table saw)</li><li>LVT guillotine and tabletop saw </li><li>General warehouse tools</li></ul></li><li>Material Handling</li><li><ul><li>Majority of material handled is under 40 lbs</li><li>Large format tile requires 2 people to safely position for cutting</li></ul></li><li>Utilizing a wet or dry cut tile saw machine to cut ceramic and other forms of tiles per bill of material.</li><li>You must be able to accurately measure tile sizes and then cut them with precision.</li><li>You'll need to maintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring that tiles are cut correctly and perform quality checks throughout the sawing process to ensure the delivery of a satisfactory result.</li><li>Must adhere to safety protocols and SOP guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and conduct before/after operational inspections of the equipment.</li><li>Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, removing debris and clutter, and properly disposing of packaging materials.</li><li>Occasionally assisting with other warehouse tasks, such as picking and packing orders, conducting inventory counts, and preparing merchandise for shipment.</li><li>All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul> Required skills/abilities<ul><li>Basic knowledge of Warehouse organization procedures.</li><li>Able to work in a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.</li><li>Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.</li><li>Able to lift and move heavy merchandise items.</li><li>Flexible schedule, including ability to work on weekends, as needed.</li></ul>education and experience <ul><li>Have basic knowledge of using power tools such as a Dry cut tile saw, drills and nail guns.</li><li>Knowledge of tile setting, grout mixing and construction is a plus.</li><li>Attention to detail and proficient math skills are required.</li><li>Precise in taking, reading measurements and orders.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li></ul> physical requirements<ul><li>Standing, walking, bending, squatting most of the time.</li><li>Repetitive motions including pushing & pulling with hands most of the time.</li><li>Frequently carrying up to 25 lbs.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted</li><li>Seldom sitting or crawling.</li></ul><img alt=" " height="1" src="https://ars2.equest.com/?response_id=72a464fb144e6bb2f445c37a775e4d7a&view" width="1"/>
