p>Summary of position: The Baker Center for Children and Families (also known as Judge Baker Children''s Center), promotes the best possible mental health of children and families through the integration of research, intervention, training, and policy. The Milieu Counselor provides active supervision both within and outside of the classroom, models social interactions between students, and intervenes effectively in periods of behavioral dysregulation.
li>Provide ongoing consultation to administrators, teachers, and other professionals to assist them in meeting students' social, emotional and academic needs; Participate in a multi-tiered system of support (PBIS and RTI) by working collaboratively with other school professionals to analyze data, determine effective interventions, and progress monitor the effectiveness of such interventions.
