Monitor and report on the White House, State Department, Pentagon, Congress, and policy institutions ⢠Produce timely news updates, explainers, and short-form stories ⢠Support breaking news coverage with speed and editorial judgment ⢠Conduct research, fact checking, and source outreach ⢠Contribute to enterprise, investigative, and long-form projects ⢠Build relationships with press officers, analysts, and congressional staff ⢠Write scripts, digital articles, and newsletter-ready summaries ⢠Record on-camera stand-ups or voiceovers as needed (training provided) ⢠Translate complex U.S. policy into clear, accessible content for MENA audiences. Required: ⢠Bachelor's degree in journalism, Communications, Political Science, International Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience) ⢠1-3 years of reporting experience, including internships, fellowships, or early newsroom roles ⢠Strong writing and editing skills under tight deadlines ⢠Demonstrated interest in U.S. foreign policy, national security, and MENA affairs ⢠Strong research, organization, and time-management skills ⢠Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced newsroom ⢠Strong collaboration and communication skills.
