Follows basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs for consumption in eating establishments Prepares foods by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry or fish for culinary use. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED Experience with Microsoft platform, accounting software, and POS systems Experience with budgets procurement 2 years of cooking and/or kitchen management, food truck experience preferred Completed 2 years of Culinary Education Servsafe Manager certification or the ability to obtain (Above requirements may be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).
