This position is responsible for promoting, developing, servicing and monitoring registered apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs with public or private sector sponsorship in officially recognized apprenticeable occupations; Ensure registered programs adhere to all applicable state and federal rules and regulations regarding apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs; Coordinate with associates in "One Stop" Centers for the purpose of providing registered apprenticeship training opportunity information to clients seeking employment through Center services. Serving approximately 3 million students, 4,400 public schools, 28 colleges, 200,000 instructional staff, 46,000 college professors and administrators, and 340,000 full-time staff throughout the state, FDOE enhances programs and services for Florida's students from early learning through college and career development.
