Key Responsibilities Design and develop hardware systems and components for single-use bioprocessing equipment Lead mechanical and system-level design activities from concept through production Translate product and customer requirements into robust, scalable design solutions Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings Apply GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFx principles (manufacturability, assembly, serviceability) Conduct engineering analyses and calculations to support design decisions Perform risk assessments using tools such as FMEA and drive mitigation strategies Collaborate with electrical, systems, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful integration Support prototyping, testing, validation, and verification activities Manage engineering documentation, ECOs, and compliance with quality systems (ISO, FDA) Participate in design reviews, project planning, and continuous improvement initiatives Education Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant engineering experience required or advance degree with 4+ years of relevant engineering experience required Experience: Experience in hardware design and product development in a technical environment Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, ProE, or equivalent) required.
