p>Desired Attributes: ⢠Previous teaching and simulation lab coordination experience ⢠Knowledge of clinical and simulation practice of nursing ⢠Knowledge of diverse organization environments in which students/graduates practice ⢠Ability to communicate effectively-interpersonally, orally, and in writing to engage a variety of constituents ⢠Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, and/or board of directors ⢠Capacity to work in a highly collaborative environment with distributed leadership ⢠Ability to develop shared meaning and build consensus across a wide variety of campuses, programs, and departments ⢠Ability to work collaboratively with administrators, faculty, and staff ⢠Effective training and facilitation skills ⢠Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse populations ⢠Skills in operating a PC and Mac with experience in MS Office and the ability to learn additional software programs, including audiovisual and computerized simulation equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
⢠2+ years of clinical nursing experience within the past 5 years ⢠Masters degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education ⢠Required Licensure/Certification: ⢠Current unencumbered licensure in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) ⢠Certified in American Heart Association BLS CPR ⢠Must obtain INACSL certification issued by International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning or equivalent certification within two years of hire.
