ul>Ensures programs meet the regulatory requirements as defined by the New York State Office of Professions, New York State Education Department (NYSED), the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and other allied health accreditation agencies. The Nursing Skills Lab Coordinator works closely with faculty, students, and administration in both the RN and PN programs to ensure the smooth operation of the skills lab, facilitating hands-on learning experiences, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
li>Office procedures, database entry principles, customer service and public relations principles, principles of math, mailing and distribution methods, training principles, leadership principles, intermediate to advanced budget administration principles, inventory and supply maintenance principles, event planning required. Coordinates quarterly Medicare Faculty Time and Effort Reports; extracts data to produce summaries Schedules providers for all necessary annual training, mask fittings, tuberculosis testing, board certification, NYS licensure, DEA certification, etc.
