Employment Type: Contract | Consultant level- NOT REMOTE Pay: Up to $50 per hour Responsibilities: Working with the team, and actively contributing to the development of the cross-functional community Drive project activities and give input to the overall plan Serve as a key Interface to your stakeholder areas Take an active part in the project, contribute to the fulfillment of the total project goals, and be the voice Oversee the localization plans and ensure compliance with client requirements, while optimizing cost, transportation, and resiliency Inform the Purchasing line organization about project demands, targets, time schedules, and other relevant project information Prepare and present project statuses and management project reviews in purchasing reference groups as well as other forums Ensure Purchasing resources are secured Contribute and secure that the purchasing time plan fits within the overall time plan Lead Projects risk management from Purchasing standpoint, including risk response and risk mitigation plans, as well as documentation and communication Escalate issues/inputs needed to deliver on agreed targets utilizing proper escalation process What We Also Pay Attention To 3+ years of Project Management experience Heavy trucking, automotive, construction equipment, aviation, or aerospace industry experience required Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent working experience SAP system experience and knowledge.
