Maintain seal control as required Ability to read and comprehend information related to the trip and being able to plan effectively for the trip; load and unload freight at customer locations using electric pallet jacks, manually or by other means, and foster relationships with team members and store personnel to eliminate any potential issues and maximize volume opportunities Perform needed post-shift activities including, couple and uncouple trucks from various trailers, slide tandems as needed, ability to raise and lower the loading gear, and open and close cargo doors, climb on and off the vehicle safely. Refuel truck with diesel, secure all equipment and machinery, and complete all required paperwork Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this position and the FMCSA regulations Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid FMCSA physical certification with Interstate non-excepted classification within 60 days of entry into the position Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) valid for Interstate driving using manual and automatic transmission within 60 days of entry into the position (timeline for a permit, license varies by location) Two (2) years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred Sales experience preferred.
