Working Conditions: Frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, rainy/stormy, extreme hot and cold weather conditions (depending on season), moving mechanical parts, vibration, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles. li>Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records. Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.
Knowledge of and safe operation of Volumetric Mixer Truck • Ensures quality of product delivered • Follows all safety and environmental regulations and procedures • Assists other drivers as necessary - reports delays, problems to dispatcher • Delivers product in a timely and safe manner following designated routes to and from job sites • Driver is responsible for maintaining safe and mechanical operation of Mixer • Must be able to operate all functions of concrete delivery (e.g. • Must be able to follow directions and operate truck safely • Must be able to maneuver and back truck as required • Must have a working knowledge of construction job-site activities • Must be able to climb into on and around truck and trailer • Must be able to stoop bend and squat as required for various duties • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures both hot and cold • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs • Must adhere to safety requirements and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook • Must be able to work in a team environment and assist co-workers and supervisors with other duties as required.
