Performs payroll related duties to ensure Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) employees are compensated timely and accurately according to federal, state, and local laws, policies, and procedures for the number of hours and days worked or contracted time employed. Performs data entry, verification, and follow-up of Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Contagious Disease leave; makes contact with schools, departments, and Human Resources staff to ensure accurate leave information prior to payroll runs.
