Responsibilities Provide coaching support to groups in targeted areas where you have experienceIdentify ways to support the development of BIPOC online/offline campaigners and coordinate this supportDevelop new online training in targeted areas where you have experienceProvide campaign strategy and implementation support for partner groups, including in-depth support during key campaign momentsStay informed about new digital tools, test options, and help SMT guide groups in selecting effective solutionsFor senior applicants, potentially co-lead SMT's work across North America and shape new projects to meet movement needsWhat We're Looking For Minimum of three years of relevant campaign experience with high-level responsibility including digital componentsStrong campaigning instincts: building power, messaging that moves, and a clear plan to achieve goalsOrganizer mindset applied to digital tools, with experience in volunteer or full-time organizing rolesExperience running issue campaigns and creating assets (memes, design, messaging) or setting up ads, with experience in smaller teamsSelf-motivated, able to break down large projects, manage multiple initiatives, and collaborate with the teamNice to Have Experience coaching and training staff and leaders from organizing groupsExperience with Action Network or similar CRM/tools, online advertising tools, peer-to-peer and broadcast texting, email targeting and evaluation, and using social media to drive actionCompensation & Benefits This is a full-time position with a salary range of $75,000–$120,000, depending on experience and location in North America. SMT is a non-profit/NGO movement support group that engages with hundreds of groups and unions across eleven years, training staff and activists with a focus on digital campaigning that amplifies in-person action.
