Preferred Qualifications: • Requires a successful completion either through a state sponsored vocational school, community college or technical school certification program in a relevant field or equivalent work experience • Extensive PC knowledge and experience • Excellent working knowledge of the Windows Platform • MS Office power user • Programmer must have knowledge of metal punching, shearing, laser and brake work • Knowledge and experience should have been gained through actual operation of forming equipment and programming • A combined education and on the job training in a manufacturing environment; 2-4 years previous experience with programming CNC machines. To be a great fit for the role: • Good math skills • Problem solving skills • Attention to details • Analyze drawings, blueprints, specifications and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates • Regularly required to walk, sit and stand for prolonged periods of time • Gross manual dexterity is also required • Ability to reach with arms and hands; bend, kneel, crouch and/or crawl as well as the ability to see and hear • Able to work night shifts and on weekends when required • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to move about in office, warehouse and manufacturing facilities.
