Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes for precision manufacturing work • Run 3-axis, 4-axis, and/or 5-axis CNC machines based on job requirements • Work with Fanuc, Mazak, or similar CNC machine controls • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and machining specifications • Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain part accuracy • Load raw material, secure parts, and verify proper machine setup before production • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed during runs • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools • Check parts for tight tolerances, quality, finish, and dimensional accuracy • Identify machining issues, tool wear, defects, or out-of-spec parts and report concerns • Maintain production flow while following quality, safety, and documentation requirements • Keep machines, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and safe • Work with supervisors, quality, and production teams to complete jobs on schedule . Skills: • CNC machining experience • CNC mill or CNC lathe experience • CNC setup and operation • 3-axis machining experience • 4-axis or 5-axis machining experience preferred • Fanuc control experience • Mazak control experience preferred • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, work orders, and machining specifications • Experience with tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments • Ability to inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring tools • Experience holding tight tolerances and working with precision parts • Aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing experience preferred .
