p>• Case manage students under S/L disability categories • Provide S/L services to students as a service provider, including completing speech/language portions of the IEP • Complete initial and special education reevaluations for students with S/L needs • Knowledge of special education law, IEP development, and assessment • Write IEP in its entirety using a data-driven approach to goals and service delivery • Lead and attend all IEP meetings as directed by caseload, inviting team members • Complete organizational tasks, including IEP completion, parent contacts, uploading forms, responding to feedback and corrections, and organizing special education files. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct speech and language therapy, inclusion and consultation services to students with speech and language services in the K-12 setting.
Responsible for verifying that services are medically necessary and align with established clinical guidelines, insurance policies, and regulations - ensuring members reach desired outcomes through integrated delivery of care across the continuum. At least 2 years experience, including experience in hospital acute care, inpatient review, prior authorization, managed care, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
