Documents intervention and program activity and maintains accurate and timely clinical recordsProvides medication administration as directed by Colorado regulations, facility policies and procedures, and physician ordersCoordinates care with consumer, families, center staff, and/or external facilities to ensure continuation of careAttends and participates in supervision, team meetings, and in-services education and training opportunitiesProvides therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as requiredMonitors collection of urine drug screens and breathalyzersResponsible for cooking, aiding in house laundry and clean-up of the facilityTransports consumers to appointments as neededComplete admission check-ins to units, provide regular safety checks on units, and monitor clients regularlyMaintains confidentiality of consumer recordOther duties as assignedQualifications:Requires Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or directly related field6+ months of experience working with adults who have mental illness, particularly those individuals diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness.clinical skillsFamiliarity with current DSM 5 and diagnostic techniquesValid Colorado Driver's license with a clean driving recordBilingual Spanish preferred, but not requiredPhysical Requirements:Regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and keyboard. The Clinician provides milieu management services to promote a safe, therapeutic environment utilizing psychiatric rehabilitation and other evidence-based practice models.
