Interpersonal skills necessary in order to provide effective leadership to assigned personnel, instruct; and comfort patients and their families, and maintain cooperative working relationships with physicians, Medical Center personnel, and external agencies and organizations. Knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and administration in order to oversee planning and implementation of care and the ability to prepare necessary analyses, reports, policies, and budgets at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
