These supervised tasks and duties include but are not limited to: initiating or receiving communications with patient, provider, and/or team members to facilitate patient care for: refill authorization requests, assisting in patient appointment review, medical records review, insurance authorization review, processing of prescriptions, including investigational medications utilized in clinical trials in compliance with policies and procedures set forth by the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and/or medications associated with Risk Evaluation Mitigation Strategies (REMS). 2 years of experience (or 1 year at Moffitt) as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RphT) with any combination of the following; unit dose, pharmacy orders and inventory computer systems, investigational or REMS medication management, pharmacy automation software systems, equipment and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
