Join an experienced team of three physicians and one nurse practitioner in the section, working closely with an interdisciplinary team in-clinic social workers, dietitians, diabetes educators, behavioral health, and genetic counselors to support ongoing care of children with diabetes and other endocrine disorders. Sanford Research, Sanford Childrens Hospital and Sanford USD School of Medicine are seeking a full time Pediatric Endocrinologist to join a dynamic team running an active portfolio of clinical trials in type 1 diabetes.
Position Summary: Applies critical thinking and is knowledgeable in clinically appropriate treatment, evidence-based care and clinical practice guidelines for Behavioral Health, specific to ABA. Identifies members at risk for poor outcomes and facilitates referral opportunities to integrate with other products, services and/or programs.

li>Collaborates with investigators, ancillary departments, study sponsors, internal and external monitors and auditors to facilitate compliance with the requirements of the research protocol with regards to good clinical research practice, FDA regulations, and policies that affect research at the institutional, state, federal and international level, while remaining cognizant of the needs of diverse patient populations.
p>Requirements: • Licensure: Must be licensed to practice independently in ANY state; Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) • Psychologist: Must have PsyPact in addition to state license. Preferred Modalities For Trauma: • Cognitive Processing Therapy • Prolonged Exposure (PE) • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills training • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) • Training related to the management of suicide risk (e.g., CBT for Suicide Prevention).
