Collaborates with Department of Nursing Education & Professional Development and unit department director/manager to oversee clinical training and patient safety initiatives in the assigned clinical area.\n \nRole-Modeling/Coaching Nursing Practice: Models excellence in nursing practice through the utilization of advanced concepts in the areas of assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of perceived, actual, or potential problems that occur in a variety of patient populations. Participates in departmental and hospital committees and meetings, and special projects as assigned to facilitate improvement of patient care tech and development of goals and objectives for the unit's patient population.\n \nQuality Improvement, Evidence-Based Practice, & Research: Maintains current knowledge, generates new knowledge, and integrates evidence-based practices into all educational initiatives Participates in and supports research activities.
