ACCOUNTABILITIES Exacting knowledge of all Respiratory Care equipment and its practical application Adequate knowledge of pharmacology pertaining to all medications administered Patient assessment and subsequent delivery of appropriate Respiratory Care per protocol and physician order, including but not limited to: Ventilator management and weaning of patients on invasive and noninvasive life support, Continuous Ventilators, BIPAP, CPAP, Oxygen administration Delivery of aerosolized medications via MDI, Nebulizer, or other devices Hyperinflation therapy, Incentive Spirometry, IPPB, Diagnostic procedures, Bronchoscopy, Obtaining Arterial, Vanous and Capillary Blood Samples, Blood Gas Analysis, Sputum Induction, Bedside Spirometry, Secretion Management, Chest Physical Therapy, IPV, Bland Aerosol. Airway management and cardiac support during ""codes"" Patient Instruction Of Breathing Exercises, Home Routine, Neonatal Therapy And Ventilatory Care Procedures required subsequent to implementation of work redesign Complete and accurate documentation of all therapy performed in Medical Record and in departmental records as required.
