Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat spinal disorders and injuries in outpatient and inpatient settings Perform complex spine surgeries including minimally invasive, degenerative, deformity, and trauma cases Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams including PM&R, neurosurgery, pain management, and physical therapy Deliver orthopedic lectures and clinical teaching to medical students across all levels, including spine-specific anatomy and pathology Mentor medical students and residents pursing careers in orthopedic spine surgery Participating in Medical student's clinical skills exams, summer research programs and simulation-based teaching Lead spine-focused workshops and journal clubs Participate in clinical and or translational research in spine-related fields (Spinal fusion techniques, biologics, biomechanics, pain management) Publish peer-reviewed manuscripts and present at national conferences as needed Duties assigned by the department chair.
