The department also supports the work of other investigators through the Developing Radiologic Imaging Value & Effectiveness in Research (DRIVER) program, which provides services for clinical trials, and the Imaging Research Institute, which comprises of Center for Neuroimaging, Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center, Center for Cancer Imaging, and state-of-the-art Research Imaging Core, which hosts a highly active radiochemistry program, including cyclotron and whole-body PET/MR system. The mission of the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is to provide impactful clinical care to our patients and to advance clinical care regionally, nationally, and internationally through translational research and excellence in training the next generation of clinicians, researchers, and technologists.
