As part of a Level I Trauma Center, the unit also provides care for a wide range of orthopedic trauma patients, including multi‑trauma injuries from motor vehicle collisions, hip fractures, gunshot wounds, and complex hand injuries. This includes comprehensive patient evaluation, monitoring post‑operative progress, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and supporting patients through mobility progression, pain management, and discharge readiness.
