Ensures the well-being and protection of every resident through the delivery of high-quality care including move-ins, evaluations, assessments, service planning, communicating with families and outside providers, interventions and behavior management, care conferences, nursing services, and documentation. The responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training caregiver staff; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
