A member of the Academy of Psychological Clinical Science and continuously accredited by APA since 1954, our Clinical Science program has a history of generative collaborations within our areas of specialization (clinical neuropsychology, clinical child and family, clinical health psychology, and general psychopathology); as well as with the Psychology Department's other graduate training programs (Cognition and Neural Sciences, Developmental, Social, and Quantitative); additional departments and colleges across campus (e.g., Educational Psychology, Ethnic Studies, Family and Consumer Studies, Gender Studies, Psychiatry, Social Work, Sociology); and transformational centers of excellence such as the Consortium for Families and Health Research (C-FAHR). The department promotes multidisciplinary collaboration outside of the Department of Psychology with active ties to the School of Computing, Bioengineering, the Business School, the College of Education, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Radiology, the Digital Health Initiative, the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI), the Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI), the Behavioral Health Innovation and Dissemination Center (BHIDC), the Utah Network for LGBTQ Thriving (ThriveNet), and the Salt Lake Veterans Administration Medical Center.
